About

The Helix Instrumental Music Program has a long histiry and excellence is one of the largest school music programs in East County San Diego. The program has celebrated many successes over the years including multiple appearences in the Rose Parade, multiple state championships and severval appreances overseas in the UK and Scottland. The music program at helix currently consists of approximately 180 students in eight main groups including drumline, bagpipes, color guard, orchestra, concert band, symphonic band, jazz band, wind symphony and marching band. We encourage the development of musical talents, inspire the community and promote social unity through live performance.

The Helix Instrumental Music Program has a rich history within the community and has graduated some very impressive alumni.
