Helix Charter High School's wind symphony, concert band, orchestra present a wonderful night of music. This concert will feature amazing works of literature written for the modern wind band and orchestra. We will have a coffee and desert reception after the concert!
The Helix Instrumental Music Association is one of largest and most successful school music programs in east county San Diego. The Music Program at Helix currently consists of approximately 180 students in eight main groups: Drumline, Bagpipes, Color Guard, Orchestra, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Wind Symphony. All three bands, as well as the color guard and bagpipes, combine to form the Helix Highlander Band.
Our foundation, the Helix Instrumental Music Association (HIMA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Tax Id# 23-7255896 formed to support the Instrumental Music program at Helix Charter High School.
